Kinnaur Kailash Trek
This trek is rather difficult and recommended for experienced trekkers. On the way there is the Charang La pass at a height of 5,300 meters. The Kinnaur Kailash is revered by both the Buddhists and the Hindus. According to popular belief, the Kinnaur Kailash is the winter abode of Lord Shiva and he holds a meeting of all gods and goddesses in January at this place.
The trail passes through mesmerizing landscapes of sprawling green valleys, vineyards, orchards and snow bound mountains. During the trail one can get to learn about the culture, language of the local people. Previously the circuitous route was about 200 Km long but now the route distance has been shortened.
